‘Conspiracy’ doesn’t sound good from Indian PM’s Mouth

In his Mann Ki Baat with Indian farmers, PM Modi called the opposition to the new Land acquisition Bill as “Conspiracy” (or in Hindi “Shadyantra”) of the political opponents. The word doesn’t sound good from Indian PM’s mouth because there’s much merit in the opposing voices. That apart you can’t call someone a conspirator, only because he/she she doesn’t agree with you. Although the word is unparliamentary, it becomes even more unpalatable as PM doesn’t belong to one party. He’s the PM of the entire Nation.
