Dassault picked debt-ridden firm for reasons | Unnamed Sources

After reading this news report, it is difficult not to laugh.

The news report is easily 2 pages long. But after reading it the reader finds just one piece information (which may not be trustworthy at all):

Top sources at the French firm, Dassault, speaking to NDTV on the condition of anonymity, said this about the new Modi led Rafale deal, and I quote:

“Dassault, one of the world’s most established and experienced defense manufacturers, picked debt-ridden firm as a partner in India, “because it was registered with the MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) and had land in Nagpur which provided access to the runway,”

You can choose to read the lengthy news report, but most of the words in it are just giving structure to it (the news report).

What is the purpose of a report, which is countering named statements made by a former French president (Francois Hollande), Dassault chief Eric Trappier with unnamed revelations of some persons sitting at Dassault or of those in favor of the deal?

To conclude, such news reports or counter arguments don’t help much. The Govt. must simply bring out a white paper on the new Rafale deal. It will be good if a Joint Parliamentary Committee is constituted to look into the deal.
