In the project, the student listed plenty of reasons to encourage people demand a strict control or total elimination of the chemical “dihydrogen monoxide.”
Some of the reasons listed are:
- it can cause excessive sweating and vomiting
- it is a major component in acid rain
- it can cause severe burns in its gaseous state
- accidental inhalation can kill you
- it contributes to erosion
and many more.
The petition has seen a positive response, with 43 out of 50 people supporting the ban.
