The Girl who was killed as an offering to the Inca gods sometime between 1450 and 1480, at approximately 11–15 years age; is the best-preserved mummy ever found.

Inca Calendar is the point of World Focus Today. On the eve of 21st December, here’s a Girl who belongs to Inca era. The Girl who was killed as an offering to the Inca gods sometime between 1450 and 1480, at approximately 11–15 years age; is the best-preserved mummy ever found. The surprising thing is: The mummy has internal organs intact, blood still present in the heart and lungs, and skin and facial features mostly unscathed.

According to experts, no special effort had been made to preserve the Girl.

And more than 500 years later, the Girl looks like a sleeping Child.

The mummy is now displayed in some museum in Argentina (Inca Civilization was located in Cusco in modern-day Peru).

Many believe that, the mummy was found on top of a mountain, with cold and thin air, that’s she’s so well preserved. There were no bugs to eat the mummy as well.

Experts believe in the sacrifice story, as the chamber where the mummy was found also contained a bunch of toys (offerings for the next life).
