Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may be a Victoria’s Secret Angel and named Maxim magazine’s ‘Hottest Woman on Earth’ — not to say that she displacing Megan Fox in Transformers 3 — but the body she has got now hasn’t come easily. As a young model, she had to battle countless rude suggestions to get into better shape and lose weight.
In ELLE magazine’s June issue, she says,
“When I started modelling, I was definitely heavier,”. “I was quite voluptuous in fact. I had a real baby face and baby fat. But I was a baby! I was told I had to get into better shape, but I’m quite stubborn so I didn’t. I can’t remember a time where I really battled with my body, but I can remember being asked to lose weight and battling with the advice. It hurt me. Especially as my baby fat naturally melted away as I got older.”
But the good thing is, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley , now 24-year-old understood the fact that she can be bullied as a young model, and she needs to stay calm.
Whether Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is carrying right weight at present or is she anorexic is a different thing. What is important to understand is that when it comes to weight issues, more than the weight itself it’s the self body image one keeps in his/her mind that is crucial. Human body is designed to keep different weights at different points of its life cycle. Like, a person is likely to have excess weight during growing up, OR a woman during pregnancy to take care of growing needs of the foetus. Hence a healthy respect for one’s body is essential for over all health. Once a person starts respecting and liking the appearance he/she has, weightloss or weight gain becomes easy.
