ICE X Electronics today launched the ‘ICE Xtreme 7’, an Android-based tablet, at Rs 6999. With this, the company debuts in the consumer electronics segment. The tablet is targeted at the youth and young professionals in Tier-I and II cities, who seek value for money without compromising on quality and technology, informed ICE X Electronics Managing Director Ravi Jakhar.
In the same launch event, the company also announced plans to soon launch world’s first ever wireless charging tablet, the ‘ICE Xtreme- II’, and a pico computer to transform regular LED/LCD TV sets into smart computing devices.
ICE Xtreme 7 specifications:
The tablet weighs 375 grams and has a 7-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels with capacitive touchscreen. It runs on the Android ICS 4.0 OS. The ICE Xtreme 7 is powered by an Allwinner A10 1.5 GHz processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB storage space, including an internal memory of 8GB (External memory expandable upto 32GB). The tablet has a 2MP camera. The connectivity options include: External dongle support (3G/2G), Wi-Fi USB 2.0+ Mini USB.
The tablet is fueled by a 4700mAh battery. The tablet is optimized for superior viewing experience due to a full HD 3D capable HDMI port. It has numerous built-in features and applications and sound ergonomics. The ICE Xtreme comes pre-loaded with over 100 apps including in-house apps such as Teacher X, with premium educational content.

Will be available at Rs 6999 only at ICE X online store. It will also be available across select consumer electronic chains across India eventually.
