IIT Kharagpur opens admission to LLB program
The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-Kh) is going to conduct an entrance test for admission to LL.B. (Hons) with specialization in Intellectual Property Rights on May 6, 2012.
Applications are invited for admission to Six-Semester, Three-Year Full-Time residential programme leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Law LL.B. (Hons) with specialization in Intellectual Property Rights with the requirements of the Bar Council of India.

Mode of Selection:
Admission will be a two-step process:
All India written test to be held on May 06 2012 (Candidates who will be writing the LSAT-India 2012 are exempted from the All India written test) + GD/PI
LSAT-India candidates will be shortlisted for the GD/PI on the basis of their percentile ranks in the LSAT-India 2012.
First Class Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine or equivalent. OR
First Class Masters Degree in Science or Pharmacy or equivalent. OR
First Class MBA Degree with any of the above
How To Apply:
The hard copy of the filled in online form must accompany a draft of Rs.1000/- for General / OBC category or Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH category, as application fees, drawn in favor of “IIT Kharagpur ” payable at Kharagpur and should be sent to the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur-721302 on or before 2nd April 2012.
Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
The cover should be clearly marked as LL.B. 2012 Admissions.
Last date for receipt of form: 02 April 2012 (March 26, 2012 to submit Application Forms online)
