Is there any dispute regarding Shivaji’s Birth date?

Is there any dispute regarding the birthday of Shivaji, the founder of Maratha empire in the seventeenth century. Recently some enlightened individuals, told me that there’s some debate regarding the birth date of Shivaji. They say his birthday, on which historians are unanimous is 19th February 1627. Not to take their information as a fact, I searched some sources.I’ll put the links of the sources that I found useful on this post in the coming days.

Why does Ms Kamat(historian)give, only the birth and death years of Shivaji in her article?

Th article is from Kamat’s Potpourri. The said person is a historian. The article is titled,”Maratha King Shivaji”. As the title suggests, it covers the entire life of the historic personality. I found this piece interesting as the author gives only the birth year and not the birth month and the birth day.Similarly only the year of demise is given. 1627 and 1680. There can be two possibilities for the author to do so–one, she thinks the dispute regarding the historic figure’s birthday, month still exists; and two, there is no strong reason behind this, and the author is holding information without any important reason. The second possibility, i think is remote, as a person who has devoted his or her entire life to the study of the subject, will not hold information for non-important considerations like aesthetics, flow etc. So to me first possibility appears more feasible.
