Lawyers do read a lot. After all, much of their success depends on it. But still reading something written by stalwarts of Legal fraternity will always be an opportunity to learn and grow. Supreme Court advocate Fali S Nariman in Kochi yesterday released the book Centenary Miscellany at Law , written by Justice V R Krishna Iyer. The book reflects on the eventful life of the eminent Justice, who is 99.
Justice VR Krishna Iyer was former Supreme Court Chief Justice who is often hailed as a Fearless judge, who never shied away from being frank fearless and rational, said Fali S Nariman. It was justice Iyer who while as a Judge in the Allahabad High Court in 1975, gave the ruling that forfeited Indira Gandhi’s seat in the Lok Sabha.
