Mobile handset-maker Lava International yesterday launched first smartphone with Intel Corporation’s processor. The ‘Xolo X900′ smartphone which comes with high-performance 1.6 GHz Atom Z2460 processor with ‘Hyper Threading Technology’, best suited for multi-media operations and hi-speed connectivity; is priced at Rs.22,000.
The smartphone runs on Android Gingerbread, or Android 2.3 operating system, sports a 4.03-inch high-resolution LCD touch screen, an 8-megapixel camera and battery life of up to 5 hours of 3G browsing, 45 hours of audio and 8 hours of talk time.
The phone is also being identified as Indian’s first Intel phone.
