Chinese Manufacturer Lenovo has just introduced its lineup of Android-powered smartphones in India comprising of the S880, S560, K860, P700i and A60 handsets. One of these is the entry level Lenovo A60, which comes at Rs. 6,499.
The five phones, the highest priced among which has a price tag of Rs. 28,499 are powered by single, dual and quad core processors.
All five smartphones, except the entry level A60, are powered by the Ice Cream Sandwich platform.
Lenovo K860, with a price tag of Rs. 28,499 , is a high-end handset.
The device is powered with an Exynos 4412 quad core processor backed by a quad core Mali 400MP GPU (for better graphics). The phone has 1GB of RAM.
Lenovo K860 sports a 5-inch 1280 x 720p IPS panel display with a pixel density of 294ppi (pixels per inch). The device has 8GB of built-in storage and approximately 18 hours of 3G talktime, offerd by 2250mAh battery.
Lenovo S880, with a price tag of Rs. 18,999, is powered with a 1GHz MTK 6575 SOC Processor. It is powered with VR SGX531 graphics and 512MB of RAM. The device has 4GB of integrated storage.
The device is a Dual SIM phone, with dual network support.
Lenovo S880 offers 12 hours over 3G.
Lenovo S560 and P700i:
Both these are dual SIM devices and have common Specs like 1 GHz dual core processor, a 4-inch WVGA IPS display, dual cameras, FM radio and GPS.
The points of difference include, battery life. While the batery in S560 delivers approximately 5 hours of talktime, that of P700i offers up to 15 hours of calling on a single charge. Users can expect up to 3 hours and 5 hours of 3G and 2G talktime, respectively.
Availability: The five devices launched today in India, have still to get an official release date.
