Nexus 7 launched in India at Rs 15999, via Google Play store

Wait for the hardware section of Google Play is over. Google has opened the hardware section of the Play store with the launch of Nexus 7 in India. Nexus 7 launched in India at Rs 15999 via Google play will become the first official Google device to be sold at Indian Google Play store portal.

Nexus 7 tablet bears a price tag of Rs.15,999 for the 16GB version of the Nexus 7 and the expected shipping date is set to April 5, 2013.

Nexus 7 has a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, making it one of the highest on a 7-inch tablet. The Nexus 7 is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 1GB of RAM. On the processor and RAM front, the Nexus 7 will be a powerful device. The connectivity options include  inbuilt-in WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and NFC (Near Field Connectivity, Android Beam). The Nexus 7 LACKS 3G capabilities.
