Nokia Asha 501 Price in India: Nokai Asha 501 will cost $99 plus taxes in India. This means around Rs 5400 (inclusive taxes).

Nokia Asha 501 Availability in India: The 2G and Wi-Fi version of Nokia Asha 501 will be available in June this year. It will be available in six colours. Another Nokia Asha 501 3G version is likely to be launched later.

From the look of it, the Nokia Asha 501 looks a smartphone an average Indian wants. The ability to access Facebook free is a good offer, as many young Indians do spend time on Facebook. That apart, the dual SIM and a micro SD card are other attractions. But there’s one thing, a 3 inch touchscreen is good for Facebook only when the user is able to type effectively on the touch keypad and scroll effectively the time line. How effective the touch screen is, will be known, only after using it.
