The Centre for Traditional Knowledge Systems (CTKS) at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today launched a six month training programme on Panchakarma therapy.
IGNOU’s Panchakarma Therapy programme is a vocational course on Panchakarma, an ayurvedic treatment. The programme on panchakarma is residential, skill development programme that includes practical and theoretical training with hospital posting. The training will be conducted at the campus of Foundation for Revitalisation of Local Health Traditions (FRLHT) at Bangalore, a government recognized research organisation with a clinical centre.
The First batch of Panchakarma Therapy will begin in January 2013.
How To Apply:
The last date for submitting the application forms to CTKS is Dec 25, 2012. The number of Seats is 25. Candidates interested can apply but they have to come to Bangalore and will be selected only after a personal interview.
Both female and male, in the age group of 18 to 28 years and having passed tenth standard with functional knowledge of English can apply for the course.
Fee for tuition, practical, clinical, study hours, library, evaluation, boarding and food will be FREE of cost for the entire period of six months.
On successful completion of the training, the candidates will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Participation’.
