NOT THE BEST BUT STILL GOOD | Questions to ask to Politicians/Parties

While cleaning up my PC hard drives some days ago, I stumbled upon this image:

Honest sales Pitch, lok sabha elections 2019 questions, political marketing pitch 2019

There might be some reason, why I chose to save it many years ago.

The reason I can think of now, is the sheer beauty of the sticker tag (encircled) which reads — “NOT THE BEST BUT STILL GOOD”.

It is beautiful because it seems to be an,

HONEST SALES request (if it doesn’t need to be persuasion all the time).

The fruit package makes it clear that — If you want the best then go for real fresh fruit. But in case that choice is not available to you, then even these oranges closely tied together sitting on the grocery shop shelve can be picked up.

The main reason behind this quick write-up today is that in present India, we are seeing so FAR FROM TRUTH, INFLATED and false claims being made by politicians and political parties that it will be really impossible for us to find such “Honest communications”(as made on the fruit package above).

No one will tell us whether the claims made by them are plain lies and propaganda.

We will have to figure it out ourselves.

In simple, No one is going to tell us why real issues such as — jobs, unemployment, lack of transparency in money spending, corruption— are being sidelined in the name of National interest.

In simple, NO ONE WILL TELL US that — the questions related to Jobs, unemployment, lack of transparency in money spending, corruption, crony capitalism even in defense deals are the best questions we can ask at any time.

In simple : Do not expect to see the honesty walk up to you.

Instead, you figure out yourself what issues are important to you!

Remember, there are no alternates here.

If we want a good Government or Governance, then we have to ask best questions or real questions related to Jobs, unemployment, lack of transparency in money spending, corruption, crony capitalism even in defense deals etc. …. if we don’t ask best questions, no one tell us, why we are not asking the real questions.

So we have to figure out what questions we ask.
