Salman Khan getting bail in hit and run conviction is actually a good thing

Various TV Channels are questioning how Salman Khan managed to get bail within hours of his conviction in 2002 hit and run case. Many panelists are seeing it as unfortunate, simply because a common man can’t get this privilege.

Actually it is not about privilege. The law of the land is equal for all. Salman Khan getting the bail is his legal right given to him by law of land. Hence there is nothing unfortunate about it. Ideally, the same right of a common convict must be ensured.

Media must raise right questions. And must be careful in views they endorse.
