The JEE Main 2013 result is announced minutes ago. 1.5 Lakh candidates will get a rank in JEE main 2013 result. These 1,50,000 qualifiers will sit in JEE Advanced 2013 Exam, to be held on June 2, 2013.

What is the Success Rate For JEE (Main) 2013?

About 10.5 lakh students had sat for JEE (Main) – 9 lakh students opted for the pen-and-paper test while 1.5 lakh students took the online test. Out of these 10.5 Lakh aspirants, 1.5 Lakh or roughly 14.28 percent made it to the JEE Advanced 2013. To simplify 1428 candidates out of every 10,000 who appeared in JEE Main 2013 made it to the JEE Advanced 2013.

With the JEE Main 2013 result, the race for mediocres has ended. Those who couldn’t make it to the top 1.5 Lakh, will get a JEE Score, which will get them admission to hundreds of average and below average colleges.

The best 1.5 Lakh will now fight for the admissions to the prestigious IITs, Indian School of Mines Dhanbad, National Institutes of Technology (NIT) and the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) and some deemed universities.
