The study notes that the fruit which is considered a boon for health, not only keeps blood pressure normal(along with keeps heart and kidneys healthy)but it can play a a useful role in weight loss. A pomegranate a day not only helps lose belly fat, but also prevents fat deposition in the said area as well.
In the study, the researchers divided the volunteers in two groups, only one group was given a ripe red pomegranate a day, for a period of one month. The researchers noted fat loss around the belly area of the group on pomegranate; along with a tendency of any further fat accumulation.
