Wishing for a WAR is worst service to one’s Nation!

Many Indians showing a very careless and casual attitude towards war — They treat the act of going to a war, as going to a shopping mall.

According to a study — The desire or ‘feeling no emotion’ among people for a war is positively linked to their distance from the war prone border or war prone region.

What does this mean?

This means that,

the farther one lives from a war prone border or region; the more eager or insensitive he/she will be towards the harmful results of a war. He/she will be more casual towards war.

war with Pakistan, Kashmir solution wants war, Kashmiris taught lesson, war call from modi, war like situation in Kashmir, modi gives orders to armyIf said in other words,

the more near you live to a war prone border or region, the more sensitive you will be towards the harmful effects of a war. In other words you will think twice before calling out for an all out War.

Every now and then we see many Indians showing a very careless and casual attitude towards war — They treat the act of going to a war, as going to a shopping mall.

Their wish for a war is as easy as speaking or typing a few words on a computer keyboard or smartphone. OR clicking a selfie!

War is something which can never be understood fully by majority of people.

A war brings real and unimaginable hardships on people in a war torn region.

A war brings real and unimaginable damage to soldiers and their families.

Forget about wage revisions, Salary increases and timely pensions; A war makes so severe loss of Nation’s money that even one time food a day becomes a struggle for majority of people in the country. No roads, no schools, no hospitals… nothing.

That apart a war never remains localized.

Sooner than later it eats the money, people and resources of an entire Nation.

So don’t demand a war every now and then.

Wishing and demanding an all out war because it can win someone elections is the worst act someone can do to one’s Nation.

Instead, elections must be won on the questions of economic growth, improvement in human lives, job creation and job growth, better healthcare, development in basic aspects of human lives etc. These are the factors which improve our lives. If said in other words, the best standard to vote for is — How has the government improved your life. A war will simply make our lives worst.

Finally, look at the world around, the most powerful countries of the world went into war with weakest of nations; and even after 10 years they couldn’t win them. In some cases these wars have dragged on 30 years now. Example is Iraq.

A War is expensive for any country. And it will remain so.
